Dr. Ahmed Muneeb Mehta
Principal / Associate Professor
is a distinguished academic leader and researcher, holding a PhD in Business Administration from Turkey and two postdoctoral fellowships from esteemed institutions in Turkey (2021) and Indonesia (2023). As the Principal of Hailey College of Banking and Finance, a premier institution in Pakistan, Dr. Mehta has made significant contributions to the academic community. His scholarly work emphasizes project management, strategic innovation, and organizational behaviour, with particular attention to performance and knowledge management. Dr. Mehta's career is distinguished by his commitment to advancing knowledge in business administration and his dedication to fostering the next generation of leaders in the field. His contributions to academia are supported by his active involvement in research and industry domains, including commerce and financial performance services.
Dr. Farah Naz Naqvi
is a distinguished Assistant Professor and the senior-most faculty member at Hailey College of Banking and Finance, University of the Punjab. A pioneering faculty member since the college's founding, she holds a PhD in Business Administration with a focus on Banking, Finance, and Management.
Her research provides deep insights into financial systems and strategic management. Dr. Naqvi has held pivotal roles, including Incharge Principal, Academic and Sports Incharge, and convenor and member of various boards and committees. Her extensive banking experience and role as Additional Financial Director at the University of Education highlight her significant impact on academic, financial, and administrative matters, and beyond.
Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad
is a distinguished academic and seasoned finance professional, holding a PhD in Finance from the prestigious University of Malaya.
He also holds Chartered Cost & Management Accounting qualification. His credentials are further augmented by his certification as a director, sanctioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). With a robust 7-year tenure in industry coupled with over two decades of academic contribution, Dr. Ahmad's intellectual pursuits and professional engagements span across a multifaceted spectrum, encompassing financial inclusion, the evolving landscape of Fintech, sustainable finance paradigms, the intricate dynamics of IPOs, leverage strategies, and the nuanced domain of social finance.
Rabia Saleem
is an Assistant Professor at Hailey College of Banking and Finance, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is a dedicated teacher with an extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
She holds M-Phil in Business Administration (Superior University) and MBA in Finance (IBA, University of the Punjab). Her research interests include human resource management and organizational behavior, with a particular focus on leadership styles and employee behavior. In addition to teaching assignments, she is involved in various non-teaching activities and serving on several committees.
Dr. Fizza Rizvi
Assistant professor, has been serving Hailey College of Banking and Finance for more than eleven years. Her educational background comprises of BBA hons. (Gold medalist), MBA (first position) and PhD (Management Science).
Apart from teaching, she holds responsibility of multiple functions of the institution including, PhD coordinator, conference secretary (for annual international research conference held at HCBF), incharge thesis allocation and incharge literary society. Her areas of expertise include management, organizational behaviour, human resource management and research. She has supervised a number of research thesis at post graduate level.
Mr. Asad Ejaz Sheikh
is a seasoned academic and audit specialist with extensive expertise in financial education and audit management. He has been a faculty member at Hailey College of Banking & Finance since 2006, teaching financial management, auditing, and Islamic banking & Finance.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Islamic Finance, Asad integrates his academic endeavors with a solid professional foundation. He brings with him industrial experience as before joining academics he worked with Deloitte & then in telecom sector of Pakistan in working in accounting and head the audit department. he established audit departments, developed risk policies, and coordinated audits. His research interests include Islamic Banking and Finance, social finance, and audit practices.
Ms. Sadia Ahmad
is serving as Assistant professor at the Hailey College of Banking and Finance. She earned first position in her MS Banking and Finance from the University of the Punjab and is currently pursuing a PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance from the University Malaya, Malaysia.
Before joining Punjab University, she contributed significantly to the Punjab Government's Management and Professional Development Department, developing training curricula for Punjab civil servants. As the In-charge of placement and internships, Ms. Sadia has developed strong liaison with industry and led successful recruitment campaigns. Her research interests include dual banking systems, Islamic finance, banking regulations, risk management and monetary economics.
Dr. Zargham Ullah Khan
completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Yasar University, Turkey. He also completed his LL.M. from Chapman University, California, USA. His area of research includes service marketing and legal aspects.
He has presented research articles at international conferences in different countries and published articles in various International Journals of Repute. He teaches Marketing and law subjects and is currently an Assistant Professor at Hailey College of Banking & Finance, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.
Dr. Rubina Bashir
is a PhD in Risk Management from University of Colombo Sri Lanka. She has completed her MPhil (Marketing) and MBA(Finance) from IBM,UET, Lahore and IBA, PU, Lahore' respectively. She has practical exposure of foreign exchange management and international trade in banking sector.
Her areas of interest are risk management, risk governance and risk management practices of dual banking system. She has 13 years of teaching experience and she teaches foreign exchange management, Risk management, Documentary Credit, Uniform Customs and Practices for imports and international trade.
Mrs. Tahreem Saddiq
is a lecturer in Hailey College of Banking & Finance, Faculty of Commerce, University of the Punjab. She completed her MPhil (Business administration) in 2015 from NCBA&E.
She teaches graduation and master’s level courses. Her research field is Organizational Management and Organizational Behaviour. Her research interest is leadership and employee behaviours, perceptions, attitudes. She is convener of College Scholarship Committee, and member of various college Committees.
Mr. Muhammad Idrees
holds M.Phil. (Accounting), MBA (Banking & Finance) & MBE degrees. He has over 24 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and post graduate level. Prior to joining academia, he served banking sector (SME Bank Limited) for 10 years.
Accounting & Finance are his areas of specialization. Besides his teaching assignments he is looking after the administrative affairs of the college. He is also the member of Board of Faculty of Commerce (PU).
Dr. Samar Rahi
Dr. Samar Rahi earned his Ph.D. from UniSZA, Malaysia. Dr. Rahi is listed among the world’s top 2% of scientists by the Stanford/Elsevier ranking 2023 in the field of management and economics.
His research interests include artificial intelligence in banking, technology management, information systems, e-service quality, e-health services, employee psychological well-being, organizational resilience, supply chain robustness, and logistics service quality.
Dr. Muhammad Usman
is working as Assistant Professor. He has done PhD. Business Administration from a triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), Beijing, China.
He has completed his Post doctorate from School of Management, Jiangsu University, China. He has more than 10 years of teaching & research experience. His research interest areas are related to Behavioural Finance, Business Strategic Decision Making, Digital Economy and Sustainable Economic Development.
Dr. Tehmina Fiaz Qazi
is Assistant Professor at Hailey College of Banking and Finance. Previously she served at business school of UET as Assistant Professor. She is a Gold Medalist in Masters from Punjab University and did her PHD in Business Administration.
Several research and conference papers at both national and international level are on her credit. Her areas of interest are Management sciences and organizational behaviour.
Miss Anam Masood
is a Business Management Lecturer with 12 years of experience in Insurance and Risk Management, HR, and Banking. She holds an M.Phil in Business Administration from NCBAE, Lahore, and an MBA in Insurance and Risk Management from Hailey College of Banking and Finance (HCBF), University of the Punjab.
Her previous roles include positions at Jubilee Life Insurance and Habib Bank Limited in Banc-Assurance department. She has completed a Certification in HR Management and has interned with insurance firms. At HCBF, she has served as Incharge Library for 8 years, oversees the Computer Lab, and female educational and industrial tours.
Mr. Mubasher Nazir
is associated with HCBF as Lecturer since 2018 and has more than 10 years of research and teaching experience at higher education level. Before joining HCBF he served IB&M (business school of UET Lahore for 5 years).
He holds 3 tertiary level qualification i.e. BBA, MBA, LLB and is currently on study leave for pursuing his PhD studies in finance in Australia. His diverse background in the field of Finance and Law enables him to teach portfolio of subjects like Financial Management, Financial analysis, Business law, Corporate Law, International Trade/Global Business environment etc.
Dr. Muhammad Bilal Ahmad
is an Assistant Professor with a PhD in Management. A Gold Medalist in B.Com (Hons) from the University of the Punjab, he also holds an MS from COMSATS University Islamabad. Dr. Ahmad has published several research articles in HEC-recognized journals and brings over five years of administrative experience as an Assistant Director.
His research interests include psychological contracts, counterproductive behaviour, sustainable careers, unethical leadership, and entrepreneurship. His involvement with the US-funded English Access Program highlights his commitment to education and international collaboration.
Dr. Waqas Baig
is working as Assistant Professor in HCBF. His last degree is Ph.D. in Commerce.
His areas of research are Management, HRM and Organizational Behaviour. He has been working in this field for last Five years.
Dr. Usman Sarwar
As an Assistant Professor at Hailey College of Banking & Finance with over 11 years of teaching experience, he specializes in Finance, focusing on Risk Management, Working Capital Management, Resilience, Financial Literacy, and Financial Inclusion. His research explores Resource-Resilience-Performance dynamics through Resource-Based Theory, Social Network Theory, and Resilience Theory.
Committed to advancing knowledge in Entrepreneurial Finance, He teaches Advanced Research Methodology, Business Finance, and Investment & Portfolio Management, employing innovative pedagogical methods to engage and inspire students.
Ms. Fareeha Waseem
is a distinguished finance professional with a robust academic foundation over 6.5 years of diverse experience in both the banking sector and academia. She holds a MS degree in Finance from IBA, PU, Lahore. She earned 5 gold medals for her exceptional academic performance in Masters, Bachelor's and Intermediate.
Her research interests are focused on Digital Finance, Sustainability Finance & Islamic Banking & Finance. She is also committed to progress knowledge and practice in her areas of specialization in accounting & finance courses to leverage her expertise for contribution towards both scholarly and professional communities.
